Desperate Housedogs

Today we had a White Elephant party over the lunch hour. I think this grew out of gag gifts that we have been putting in each other's stockings for the past 6 years. Last year I took a variety box of deals I had picked up at Dollar General, the highlight being a package of underwear that had been inadvertently turned pink. This year I chose one of Sharla's old flower pots that I couldn't stand any longer. It made a great gift and it was nicely packaged if I do say so myself. I found a couple of Desperate Housedog toys the other day so the Edie doll topped the wrapping. Anyway, it was a fun time and there were several clever gifts including a bag of balls (mothballs, cedar balls, golf balls, cat ball, etc) and a very nice pig on a motorcycle cookie jar.
