SHORTS-R-4-SUMMER

On the way home from work tonight there was a nice freezing rain coming down. Luckily the streets already had plenty of salt down so it wasn't bad driving. When I got home my neighbor across the street was out shoveling the snow off his driveway that had fallen several days ago. This guy is quite the character, known only to us on the north side of the street as the guy that ALWAYS wears shorts. One evening about a year ago this time I saw him out at a local sports bar and the only reason I noticed him was because he was the only person wearing SHORTS. Anyway, needless to say he was wearing shorts while shoveling his driveway in snow boots and a heavy winter coat. I took this picture with my camera phone so it is hard to see, but you get the idea.

I spent some time this evening cleaning out my closet. I am happily wearing a smaller size these days so I have a lot of things taking up space in my closet that never get touched. Tonight I focused on pants. I ended up clearing out 7 pairs of jeans and 25 pairs of slacks, so I have tons of space to spread out the pants that fit along the bottom rack on my side of the closet. Next will be shirts, but that will have to wait for the weekend. Below are all the pants that are on their way to Ebay.
