Winter Solstice

Saturday we celebrated Christmas at Grandma Jones'. The boys had a great time playing with Alexis and Jaxon and were exhausted by the time we headed home. This was the coldest weekend I can ever remember. Tanner and Trevor have stayed inside the majority of the weekend, which they have loved. I was considering riding my bike into work this afternoon, but with the amount of work I needed to get done and the time it would have taken me to layer up and ride in I passed. If I can finish this project up Monday then I'll consider riding Tuesday and Wednesday, but I'm probably going to need at least one of those lunch hours to finish shopping. On top of the record low temperatures today was the shortest day of the year. It is a good thing Christmas is right around the corner, otherwise there wouldn't be a lot of positives on a day like today.

I have played around a little with the camcorder I won at the office party last weekend. I read the manual and took a few high speed continuous shots of the boys. They are not great picts, but I can see this one being a fun tool to play with.
