KCCC Softball

This past weekend was a long one. KCCC softball tournament usually drags out most of Saturday afternoon/ evening and Sunday morning/ afternoon. I wasn't sure we were going to have it in us to make it through this year, but I was wrong.

We ended up playing 3 games Saturday and 4 Sunday, losing in the 3rd place game. We were up 6-0 but lost our marbles and that was it. Anyway, we still earned the bronze medal. In 7 years of competing in the Corporate Challenge, that was the first bronze medal I have received. All the others are gold or silver.

We have had some good photographers out for the events this year, which is why I have been able to post so many pictures. Sunday evening Sharla and the boys joined me to head over to the doubles table tennis tournament. This month-long period of the year gets a little stressful with something going on every night, but I think it is worth it.

By the time it is over it is warm enough to hit the pool and enjoy the summer. Next up is track and team triathlon. I have gotten myself into some new events, which I am enjoying. Hopefully BRR will pull out another first place trophy this year!
